St. John Fisher College students are ready to take the floor for the annual "Teddi Dance for Love."

The event is a 24-hour dance marathon that has raised more than $1.8 million for Camp Good Days and Special Times.

The annual event will be from 8:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 18 through 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19. It will be held at the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Athletic Center at St. John Fisher College, located on 3690 East Avenue, Rochester, New York.

This year, the Dance will be dedicated to Landon Coia, who passed away from a rare sarcoma last year at the age of three. Coia is the cousin of Fisher student and Teddi Development Committee Captain Emma Cottrell. During Coia’s illness, his family took advantage of activities that Camp had to offer and has stayed involved with Camp after his passing.

Chairperson Liliana Rucci and Vice-Chairperson Allie Klonowski joined us Monday on Good Day Rochester to discuss how this year's event is an important milestone for the Teddi Dance, the importance of the event and what they hope accomplish with it this year.

Donations can be made online atteddi.sjfc.edu or by texting 44-321 using code teddi40.
