Board of Directors
Meet Our New Board Chair: Brandon Beardsley
Camp Good Days is proud to introduce Brandon Beardsley as the new Chair of the Board of Directors. A dedicated member of the Board for the past seven years, Brandon most recently served as Vice Chair and now steps into this leadership role, succeeding Bob Bleier, whose 20-year tenure as Board Chair left an incredible legacy of dedication and impact.
Brandon brings over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and currently serves as a commercial banker with Genesee Regional Bank (GRB). He initially led the Bank’s Internal Audit department and later established its Risk Management function. Prior to GRB, he worked with PwC’s Risk Assurance team and a Syracuse-based startup specializing in regulatory compliance within the financial sector. His leadership in risk management, process development, and community engagement will help guide Camp Good Days as we continue to grow and serve those impacted by cancer and sickle cell anemia.
Beyond his professional achievements, Brandon is deeply committed to giving back to the Rochester community. He focuses exclusively on supporting local businesses and regularly volunteers with area charities. He also serves on the Finance Committee of Irondequoit Country Club and was recognized as a Rochester Business Journal “Forty under 40” honoree. Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from SUNY Geneseo and resides in Webster with his wife and two children.
Reflecting on his new role, Brandon shared: “I am honored and humbled by this opportunity to continue helping Camp Good Days. The amount of good that Camp Good Days has done in the 45 years since Gary Mervis founded it is immeasurable. My goal is to ensure that his vision is carried on for the next 45 years and beyond.”
We are grateful for Bob Bleier’s dedication and leadership over the past two decades and look forward to this next chapter under Brandon’s guidance.
