While there, the campers will have the opportunity to meet and dance with the students and help to make the announcement of the total amount raised, during the Closing Ceremony.

All of the proceeds from the Dance for Love benefit the Teddi Project at Camp Good Days, named for Teddi Mervis, the inspiration behind Camp Good Days, which provides the resources for the campers to attend special outings and trips throughout the year, such as the Annual Florida Trip, during which campers have the opportunity to experience firsthand the magic of Central Florida and the many theme parks. In addition to the Florida Trip, the Teddi Project also provides funding for other special outings and activities such as sporting events, movies, bowling, and more.  Over the years, the Dance for Love has generated over $960,000 in support of the Teddi Project and the children at Camp Good Days!

"The Teddi Dance for Love is one of my favorite times of year," says Gary Mervis, Chairman & Founder of Camp Good Days. "It is a time when you see firsthand the true meaning of love, hope, and giving.  Each and every year, I continue to be amazed by the hard work, dedication and devotion displayed by the Teddi Committee, all of the participants, volunteers and supporters, and the overall St. John Fisher College community.  As Teddi's Dad, all those involved with the Teddi Dance for Love help to keep my daughter's spirit and memory alive. There are truly no words to express my gratitude for that special gift they give to me."
