Chief Financial Officer and Director of Administration

Camp Good Days and Special Times, Inc., a 501(c)(3) is a not-for-profit organization
that strives to improve the quality of life for families affected by cancer or sickle cell
anemia through residential camping programs and year-round recreational and support
activities, in the Rochester, Buffalo and Syracuse, New York areas. The selected
candidate will be responsible for all financial and human resources matters pertaining to
the organization and will report directly to the Executive Director. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to: overseeing daily operating accounting
functions (accounts payable/receivable and cash receipts), annual external audits and
filings (990, NYS CHAR500, and the IRS5500), and human resources-related functions
(payroll and new hire onboarding).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to multi-task and a keen attention to detail
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience using QuickBooks is a plus but not required
