Camp Childhood U.S.A. 2009 - 7/7/2009
The theme at this year's Camp USA was the holidays, that included Halloween, Easter, and even April Fool's! This was an action packed Camp with lots of good times and good memories.
Camp Sharing and Caring / Do The Right Thing 2009 - 7/21/2009
A week of circus fun that included waterfront activities, pool parties, ropes course, and a visit from Crossroads The Clown!
Camp B&ST 2009 - 7/14/2009
Images from Camp Brothers and Sisters Together, (B&ST). Campers shared lots of good times which included a visit from the Canisius women's basketball team, and a trip to Watkin's Glen Racetrack to meet up with the Trackmasters.
Supportive Spouse Program - 4/25/2009
Images from the 2009 Supportive Spouse Program where both men and women who are dealing with cancer can spend a weekend with their spouse or significant other in the tranquil setting of Camp Good Days on Keuka Lake. This year's activities included a murder mystery dinner, casino night, fishing, campfire, woodworking, kayaking, and much more.
Women's Oncology Program Arts-n-Crafts Weekend - 6/6/2009
The Camp Good Days Women's Oncology Arts-n-Crafts Weekend was held at the Branchport Recreational Facility. Participants had a chance to create water colors, bead art, woodcrafts, and much more!
29th Congressional District Cancer Summit - 6/22/2009
Gary Mervis, Chairman & Founder of Camp Good Days and Special Times, along with Eric J.J. Massa, United States Congressman – 29th District, hosted a Cancer Summit on Monday, June 22, 2009, at the Camp Good Days' Recreational Facility, Branchport, New York. Doctors, nurses, social workers, community agency representatives, as well as those who are dealing with and / or have survived their battle with cancer attended the summit. As a special highlight, Dr. Brian Monahan was a Keynote Speaker. Dr. Monahan currently serves as the Attending Physician of the United States Congress. The goal of the Cancer Summit is to provide the venue in which everyone can come together and discuss ways in which to develop a grassroots effort for our country's commitment to bringing the war on cancer to the forefront of the public's attention and the government's agenda, as well as map out the steps necessary to defeat this disease and to provide the model for other Congressional Districts across the country.
Women's Oncology Adventure Program - 8/22/2009
The Adventure Rowing Program allowed participants to experience unique activities. Crewing gave everyone the opportunity to row in a team environment. Pariticipants also had the opportunity to do the ropes course, fishing, hiking, kayaking, and make new friends!
30th Anniversary Reunion Weekend - 10/3/2009
The 30th Anniversary Reunion weekend, held at the Branchport Recreational Facility, was attended by campers and volunteers from the first 10 years of Camp Good Days. Everyone shared fond memories of the good times and the friends they met. A special memorial service was held by Father David Ambuske and Sister Fran Quinn to remember those friends who had since passed on, and to celebrate the magic of Camp Good Days and Special Times.
Courage Bowl V - 9/19/2009
Courage Bowl V between The St. John Fisher Cardinals and the University of Rochester Yellowjackets gave campers the opportunity to be on the sidelines as honorary coaches and cheerleaders. A down to the finish 35-33 win by the Cardinals made this game exciting and suspenseful. Each year the players coaches, and cheerleaders let the campers have a special time they will never forget!
Women's Wellness Weekend I - 9/12/2009
The Camp Good Days Women's Oncology Program hosted the first of two wellness weekends on September 11 - 13, 2009. The activities such as facials, reiki, yoga, were aimed to rejuvinate and refresh the body and soul. The highlight of the weekend was a luau theme complete with a pig roast.
Doing A World Of Good II - 2009 - 8/6/2009
The second week of Doing A World Of Good included a special outing to the Science Museum in Ithaca, NY, followed by a visit to Taughannock Falls!! The week wrapped up with a dance and fireworks display.
Camp Childhood USA Alumni - 8/13/2009
The highlight of USA alumni was a visit from the Israel scouts, a group of teens who tour the country performing musical numbers and dances.
Women's Wellness Weekend II - 10/17/2009
The Camp Good Days Women's Oncology Program hosted the second of two wellness weekends on October 16 - 18, 2009. The weekend's theme was a trip back to the 1960's complete with a Woodstock night, featuring the music of Janis Joplin! Participants also had the opportunity to take part in activities such as facials, reiki, yoga, beads, and massages.
Doing A World Of Good I - 2009 - 7/28/2009
Campers from Germany, Spain, Mexico, The Bahamas, Dominican Republic, and USA, gathered for a week of international fun. This was also the first year that campers who previously attended Teddi's Team, attended Doing A World of Good, which was a huge success! The international flavor carried on with a visit from the Rochester Rhinos professional soccer team, where campers played soccer with the team and even got autographs!

Florida Trip 2010 - 1/15/2010
Campers and volunteers enjoyed Central Florida with lots to do! Visits included a visit St. Pete, Disney's Epcot and Magic Kingdom, Universal Studios, and a Tampa Bay Lightning hockey game.
Trackmasters Wow Camp Good Days - 7/15/2009
Campers from the B&ST (brothers and Sisters Together) had a chance to ride in some spectacular sports cars when Trackmasters hosted Camp Good Days at the Watkins Glen International Raceway. Thank-you to Trackmasters and all of the drivers for giving the campers memories to cherish for a lifetime!

Holiday Party 2009 - 12/27/2009
Images from the Camp Good Days 2009 Holiday Party, held at the Rochester Plaza Hotel. Campers had the opportunity to do line drumming with world famous drummer Dave Mancini, practice their DJ skills, and visit with friends and counselors from this past summer.
Camp Good Days Night at The Red Wings - 8/28/2009
The Rochester Red Wings baseball team hosted Camp Good Days and Special Times as part of the 30th Anniversary Celebration. Over 300 camper families and volunteers were invited to watch the Wings play the Buffalo Bisons. The Red Wings wore "Courage" jerseys designed by campers Garrick and Jordan Centola, who were honored by throwing out the first pitch. The jerserys were later auctioned off, with the proceeds going to Camp Good Days.
2009 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition and Camp Good Days Wine Auction Dinner - 5/2/2009
These images are from the 2009 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition held in Rochester, NY on March 28 & 29, 2009. In it's ninth year, the competition with 2663 wine entries from 571 international wineries, helped to rank this competition amoung the top in North America. The Camp Good Days Wine Auction Dinner was held on May 2, 2009 in Rochester, NY and was attended by over 500 guests. Great food, wine, silent and live auction items made for a memorable event. The two events combined is the largest fund-raiser for Camp Good Days and Special Times!
Start Your Cellar 2009 - 6/6/2009
For a second year in a row, John and Karen Sullivan of Mendon, NY have hosted Start Your Cellar at their home. Guests arrive with two bottles of wine, one to share and one that is donated. The donated bottle becomes part of a collection that is auctioned off at a future event. The fortunate winner will have a new upright wine refrigerator along with some very spectacular wine. The event also featured great auction items. Thank you to the Sullivans for hosting this event for Camp Good Days!

Pediatric Cardiology Picnic - 7/12/2009
Children from the Pediatric Cardio-Pulminary Department at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY were treated to a picnic on July 12, 2009 at Camp Good Days. Everyone spent the afternoon taking boat rides, touring the camp, making Arts & Crafts, and other activities.
Project TIPS - July 2009 - 7/24/2009
Project T.I.P.S., (Trust, Information, Programs & Services), paid a visit to the Avenue B / Conkey Ave. area of Rochester, NY. The block party style event is a joint project between the community and law enforcement to nurture trust and involvement.
Buffalo Bill's Training Camp - 8/11/2009
Campers from the Rochester area of Camp Good Days visited the Buffalo Bill's training camp at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY. The campers arrived at the Mendon, NY headquarters for some pizza and a few games, and then traveled over to the Bill's camp. The Bill's hosted everyone in a VIP area and campers played at the interactive area and had autographs signed by the players.
Project T.I.P.S. - 10/9/2009
Images from the Project T.I.P.S. event held in the Hudson Avenue region of Rochester, NY. The aim of the event is to promote better coopertion between neighborhood residents and law enforcement to stem violent crime.
Project Exile Breakfast - 9/29/2009
Project Exile is dedicated to deter criminals from using illeagaly obtained guns, by promoting stiffer prison sentences. The breakfast, held in Rochester, NY, was a report to the community from local, state and federal law enforcement on the progress of minimizing illeagl guns on our streets.
Kick-It Academy - 7/11/2009
Area football kickers had the chance to get some lessons and pointers at the 2009 Kick-It Academy held on July 11 at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY. On hand were NFL standout and former Buffalo Bills kicker Steve Christie and St. John Fisher College Football kicking coach Gary Mervis. Everyone came away from the event with improved skills in place kicking and punting!
Fayetteville-Manlius Dance Marathon - 2/28/2009
On Satuday, February 28, 2009 the students at Fayetteville-Manlius High School raised more than $100,000 the annual Fayetteville-Manlius Dance Marathon. All of the proceeds from the Dance Marathon benefit the children and families at Camp Good Days!
St. John Fisher Dance For Love - 2/7/2009
The students at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY hold their annual Dance For Love. This 24 hour dance marathon has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to help Camp Good Days provide the programs they do.
Tournament Of Love 2009 - 6/2/2009
Images from the 2009 Tournament Of Love, played at Monroe Golf Club in Pittsford, NY. Celebrity golfers included Ernest Byner, Jim Boeheim, and many more! The highlight of the event was when 500 numbered golf balls were dropped from a helicopter onto a green for a closest to the hole $25,000 cash prize.

On June 27, 2009 country music legend Ronnie Milsap performed a special concert for Camp Good Days in Rochester, NY as part of the 30th Anniversary Celebration. Guests had a chance to hear songs and listen to Milasp talk about his rise from humble beginnings to superstar.
Project T.I.P.S. - 8/13/2008
Images from the first Project T.I.P.S. event. This event brought various agencies together and the community to open a dialogue to stem the spread of crime and violence. The event took place at the Dewey Ave. and Driving Park area in Rochester, NY. And the Second Event which took place on February 20,2009, on Dayton St. where RPD Officer Anthony DiPonzio was shot while on a call. Also,the most recent event at Jefferson Ave. on April 16, 2009.
