Camp Good Days' Courage Bowl
Camp Good Days and Special Times, has many special events and fundraisers throughout the year. One of them is the Camp Good Days Courage Bowl. Each year, Camp Good Days selects honorary coaches and cheerleaders. These are Camp Good Days campers who have been diagnosed with cancer and would normally not be allowed to experience a real football game. The Camp Good Days Courage Bowl gives these campers that opportunity. The Inaugural Courage Bowl was played in September of 2005 at Growney Stadium on the campus of St. John Fisher College between the St. John Fisher Cardinals and the University of Rochester Yellow Jackets. In 2010 and 2011, the Courage Bowl was played at Sahlen's Stadium in downtown Rochester, NY. Courage Bowl VIII was the last game in the series between the University of Rochester and St. John Fisher College.
