In Our Region

Here are some of the many ways that Camp Good Days and Special Times touches the lives of children and their families in Western NY.
It is also from the generous support from donors and volunteers that Camp Good Days can continue to provide our programs free of charge.

Volunteer of the Month: MAY 2012 Congratulations to Michelle Kessler! |

My family consists of my 2 wonderful parents and 2 older sisters. I grew up in the Town of Tonawanda and graduated from Sweet Home High School. I worked at Praxair, Inc. for 10 years as a graphic designer. Went back to college for my Bachelors and Masters in Art Education. I currently work at Notre Dame Academy as an Art Teacher. I teach students from Pre-k through 8th.
I joined CGD last year in February to help paint the "amazon Wizard of Oz figures" for the gala then I joined as a counselor. The main reason I continue to volunteer for CGD is for the kids. It's a wonderful feeling to make CGD children smile no matter how silly we have to get. It is also a great family to be a part of. From the first day I volunteered until today I have always felt welcomed and loved!!
Fun fact: I guess that I'm artistic
